“It is the color closest to light. In its utmost purity it always implies the nature of brightness and has a cheerful, serene, gently stimulating character. Hence, experience teaches us that yellow makes a thoroughly warm and comforting impression.”Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
𝒢𝑜𝑜𝒹 𝑀𝑜𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝐵𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝒾𝒻𝓊𝓁 𝐻𝓊𝓂𝒶𝓃𝓈,
I want to share something that has raised my vibrations. Believe it or not, color has an effect on our mood.
According to Kendra Cherry, MS, Colorology is still used today as a holistic or alternative treatment. In this treatment: Yellow is thought to stimulate the nerves and purify the body. Yellow: According to the experts, driving a yellow vehicle might mean that you are a happy person in general and perhaps a bit more willing than the average person to take risks. Color can play an important role in conveying information, creating certain moods, and even influencing the decisions people make. Color preferences also exert an influence on the objects people choose to purchase, the clothes they wear, and the way they adorn their environments.
When asked Treasure, what is your favorite color? I usually say the rainbow 🌈 all saturated colors, however pink has been my color. I was obsessed with Pink. When I was sixteen we painted my room bright pink with black crown molding it was a bold shocking color and it spoke to me at the time.
15 years later, I’m enamored about YELLOW, so much that on the commute to work, I played Yellow by Cold Play + The Yellow Submarine by The Beetles, followed by any lyrics that mentioned sunshine. This color speaks to my soul and will soon be reflected in half my wardrobe.
At this moment, my color is many shades of yellow: Sunshine, Mustard, Sunrise, Sunset, and the gradient shades that blend from light yellow to deep orange like fire.
What color speaks to your soul? Have you purposefully decorated your home and wardrobe with this color? Or have you recently looked up and noticed that you own objects in similar colors? Whatever helps you relax, I’d love to hear it…
With Love & Light,
