||47||: You’ll Never Walk Alone

Picture Prompt #3

I love this photo so much.
When I view it, I smile each time.
It lacks perfection, saturation and detail.
Still, it reminds me of the young woman I was then and the woman I am today.

Here is a song/poem that continues to remind me to keep going. That even when I feel alone, I’m not alone. That the Universe continues to send people to fill in the gap and encourage me along the way. I may start the hike with myself but I know for sure that I’ll meet people, walking their own path and there I will find myself. I’ll learn that I’m capable of being more purposeful and driven. First, I must begin the trail. Keep pressing on folks.

You’ll Never Walk Alone was written by Oscar Hammerstein II and composed by Richard Rodgers for their musical Carousel, which was released in the USA in 1945.

Infuse your life with action.
Don’t wait for it to happen.

Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope.

Make your own love.

And whatever your beliefs, honor your Creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.

Bradley Whitford
